A painting I’ve been working on forever, or three times a year anyway, is in its last trimester, so to speak. A bit more polish needed, but everything's there. Unless I change my mind again.
It’s intended to be a wraparound cover for the first Concrete novel, which is having an even longer gestation.
No one will ever call me “madly fecund.”
Looks fantastic, can't wait for it to come out.

I wonder if anybody's ever called anybody "madly fecund." Looking forward to the novel. Keep up the good blogging.

Ditto the positive blogging comments Paul, always nice to see what you have to say! Looking forward to both projects (Harlan?!? Fantastic!), please keep posting as often as you can! Thanks for the gloomy poem too!

Very cool. I didn't know you were working on a Concrete novel. This is great news!

That piece is a thing of beauty!
I can´t wait to see it in print. It thrills me to no end that you´re working on a new Concrete story. I´ll be the first one in line once it comes out. I, along with a couple of comic book enthusiasts from Iceland, made a pilgrimage to San Diego Comic-Con back in 99. One of the highlights of said trip was to meet you and see you do a wonderful Concrete sketch for me that also had floating creatures from World Below. One of my most prized possessions :) I just want to say thanks again.

I have to say its pretty disappointing that you not only got rid of most of your old blog posts relating to the Matrix Online but that you have had no comment on its closure two days ago, even though this was known for two months prior, and you were an integral part of its creation. Although if you do have something to say on the matter I'll stand corrected, and I'm sure the MxO community would be appreciative.
Ah well, regardless, might as well complete the purge and remove the links to MxO on the left where your links are. It's a footnote in MMO history now.

Hello Paul,
Concrete is my favourite comic series and I've managed to track down every issue — even "Concrete celebrates Earth Day 1990!"
Might we see a colour re-print becoming available in the future? I am quite fond of the colour issues (think like a mountain especially)
With titles like "Hellboy" getting massive coffee-table editions, isn't it time that Concrete get a weightier edition that includes the original colour?
Thanks for this series!
